I mean, it's almost a waste of time to practice something that rare. They did practice it a few weeks ago though.

Devils seem likely to be the odd team out but Columbus and Florida apparently are the two best teams in hockey and never lose, so the Flyers are fixing for the 2nd wild card and get to cross over to play Tampa.

The trade deadline in the NHL is like the Mlb trade deadline, you can make trades anytime but after a certain date the players traded aren’t eligible for the postseason roster.

He was a sixth round draft pick in 2015 so Hextall picked a few rounds with this trade. It's highly doubtful that Marody would ever make the Flyers roster with all of the other talented forwards that are in the system.
We fans will probably see more of this where guys in the system that are seen as having potential are dealt off because the talent base is strong at every position. The talent train is loaded. Ex., last night's game where five rookies played in the game-Lyon, Hagg, Sanheim, Lindblom and Patrick- and all played well. There are a couple players at LV right now who could merit being on the team. Then there are strong prospects in Juniors. The system is stacked.
