has the nhl ever thought of how stupid the 'ref losing sight of the puck' rule is? you can (in theory) say the play was dead afterwards if you let it go, but you can't un freeze a play after you've blown it dead and find out later the puck wasn't frozen (which, by the laws of physics, it wasn't in this one since it moved over the line, into the glove, and then back out.).
