The minutes restrictions are long gone and he's shown that he can play through bumps and bruises, so now with the back to backs left to clear, it seems we're coming up on Joel 2.0 . Interestingly, what got me thinking about his next level was his change of seat to the chairs during substitutions instead of sprawled out on baseline, a trend I'm noticing. Those first few games in LA where he overloaded on the minutes test was his first true challenge. Busting through that to where he is now says everything about strengthening of his lower back and you can see the physicality pervade up and down the court. It seems he's dropping shoulders and unleashing a new post move every night and also serving as the spawn of ball movement to get the web moving on O. Defensively, he blocks out the sun and covers out to the perimeter. Oh and he hits his free throws. A typical possession is dominated by his touches and his BBall IQ is rising. There's very little flaws left to his game as version 1.0 maxes out.
anyway, jeez he's awesome. Never forget where you were when you watched him play. I think he's better than any of us think
Sonny Hill put his name in same sentence with Wilt. That's all I need to know.

(Great recap on 1.0 >> 2.0)
